He really knows how to romanticise our lives and it was the perfect escape! We stayed at Middlethorpe Hall, one of the National Trust hotels which is the epitome of an English country house. The house is from the 17th century (William & Mary style) with a stunning architecture and the most beautiful classic English interior.
