HMS Belfast walk through tour 2018 | 4k
I first visited HMS Belfast in 2003 and it's still as good now as it was then. It's easily one of the best attractions in London. Laid down at Harland and Wolfe, Belfast, in 1936 and Commissioned into the Royal Navy in 1939 - during WW2 she served with the Arctic convoys, assisted in the sinking of the Scharnhorst (Northern Cape) and supported the D Day landings at Normandy. After WW2 she headed to the Far East and was later to be one of the first British units called into action in the Korean War. Destined for the scrapyard in the 1970's, but thankfully saved, preserved and open to the public to this day. If you're interested in history/military history then you'll definitely enjoy the tour and I can't recommend a visit to HMS Belfast enough if you're visiting London.
