At one time, when it did not rain, all the green crops withered. All the trees died and withered. All water levels drought everywhere; Earthquake was found. Because of this, no living thing could get water to survive. People who lived in that area moved to other places. The Maharishi's practice of yoga is similar to pranayama They understood.Sage Gautama suffered due to lack of rain He felt sorry for the situation. He is Varuna to get rid of it He prayed to Paswan and did penance." Lord Varunabhagavan, who was pleased with his penance, said, "O Master! What do they want?"He asked.Sage Gautama said, “Due to lack of rain, all the cities of the country are dry. All the plants have fallen. None of the living beings could survive. So Lord Varuna! Have mercy! He prayed that there should be rain and prosperity. Lord Varuna. "Maharishi! Hearing that, everything happens according to Sarveswaran's order and nothing happens in violation of him.What happens only if he thinks it will not happen by any other means. So instead of that, ask for some boon from the Vedas!” he said. Sage Gautama said, "You are the master of the rain for the whole world! That is why I prayed to you who have a compassionate heart. Even if you are unable to make it rain, please help me to get water in some other way!" He asked. Lord Varuna thought to benefit the penitent sage by praying to him, “O sage! It is no longer beautiful that I deny them. You cut a pond. I will fill it with water!” He said. Similarly, Gautama cut a pond and Varuna filled it with water. Then Varuna said, 'O Gautama! This pool will never run dry. One of the holy solutions is revealed in your name. If you do Velvi Puja and Sirartham here every day, I will give you the boon that you will increase in number," he said and disappeared. Sage Gautama was happy and praised Lord Varuna. Then he performed daily pujas with that water and sowed various types of grains. Then he peacefully went into penance. Grains were grown. All the trees and vines grew luxuriantly and produced flowers and fruits in abundance. Green saree was seen all around his ashram.
