Hiking Scafell Pike via the Eskdale Valley, Lake District

Hello everyone! Last week we headed up to the Lakes for the day to go for our first big walk in the fells since lockdown. We were met with some fairly difficult navigating conditions but really dramatic landscapes, and were out in the hills for 9 hours in total that day! If you're thinking of doing this hike, I'd really recommend having good compass skills as the tracks are vague and conditions can be difficult. I would also describe it as a challenging hike due to the steepness of the terrain. All in all, we had a brilliant day out and I'm looking forward to getting back to the Lakes soon.
