Yikes! Somebody turned this 1965 Fender Mustang into an EVH style abomination!
I bought this Van Halenized '65 in 2016 from a gentleman in Raleigh, NC. He customized it himself in the 80s, including the spray paint and filling all the trem cavities with wood filler. It was in a pretty sorry state when I got it, the bridge was mounted in a wrong spot, headstock was painted over and it had LP style 3+3 tuning pegs installed, so tuning it up was pretty confusing affair. It features hardtail early 80s G&L Bridge, Bill Lawrence L500 humbucker in the bridge and Seymour Duncan. Really awesome sounding guitar. Played directly into Focusite Solo, using Neural Amp Modeler.
