Today, we're going to take a look at the pin and clip for the class three, class four, and class five trailer hitch receivers. Now this pin and clip is used to secure a ball mount or a hitch accessory to your trailer hitch receiver. This one is designed to fit two inch, and two and a half inch square receiver hitches. It does include the retainer clip. And when you do insert this into your hitch, just put your clip on the other end and that'll hold it in, secured into place. Now, the pin itself, it is a five eighths inch diameter pin, the overall length on this pin, and I'm going to measure from this end all the way to this end. If I put my ruler on there, you can see it's going to be right at five and one eighth inches, the usable length, which would be measured from in here to where the pin is installed.That is going to be right at three and a quarter inches. And then what I wanted to show you is I happened to pull a ball mount that uses this five eighths inch diameter pin and clip. And I happen to have an example of a hitch receiver right here. Let me just zoom out a little bit so we can see. And this is a two inch by two inch hitch receiver opening. So when you take your ball mount and you slide it in there, you'll just line up your hitch pin holes, and then you'll take your five eighths inch diameter pin, slide it all the way through. Once it's all the way through, put your clip on there, and then that holds it, secures it into place. And to remove it, just pull off the clip, slide your pin out, and you can remove it from your hitch receiver. But that should do it for the review on the pin and clip for the class three, class four, and class five trailer hitch receivers..
