I forgot to mention that sometimes the Korg will not refresh the content of the menu without a little help. For example when I put in the factory patches I did it at least ten times or more. All the connections where OK Midiox was communicating with the synth but I could not see any changes. After a great level of frustration and pulling back for the task for a couple of hours I went back and did it again but this time I pressed the up and down button located to the left of the screen and started cycling thru the sounds and went back to 00 patch and there they were. It seems to me that the patches went thru but the M1 was not refreshing the screen. My advice make sure Midiox is communicating properly with the synth (open the midi monitoring window) and try again. If they are indeed M! patches they will be there. Hope this helps!
