T5 Transporter Electric Bed

My "Heath Robinson" attempt at converting my T5 Rock and Roll bed to a motorized version. I used a 700mm stroke 12v Linear Actuator from www.gimsonrobotics.co.uk (thoroughly recommend excellent service!!) and the gas strut from my T5 bonnet. The gas strut compresses when you get on the bed, the "pops" the centre back up again ready for putting it away. I also had to fit a limiter switch to the bed to cut the power circuit when the bed was retracted as the actuator still had 20mm of travel left and would either self destruct or break the bed! Control is by a 2 way rocker switch. If it inspires you to do the same, be careful. This is my second attempt and only worked because the bed extended 68cms and the actuator had a 70cm stroke. The actuator would fit anywhere else so I was lucky!
