Simple easy Caesar salad and Homemade Croutons recipe! Homemade croutons are so easy to make and are so delicious! You can season them however you like and use utilize any left over bread you may have. You can store them in a Ziploc bag and they will keep fresh for a week. Ready for all your salad creations! This salad will be very tasty will grilled shrimp, salmon or chicken. I also like to add diced tomatoes ,avocado and hard boil egg. Yum! Homemade Croutons: I used left over Sour dough bread use any bread or your choice - This recipe was for about 2 1/2 cups of diced bread 2 tbs olive oil 1/4 tsp Garlic Salt 1/4 tsp Black pepper 1/4 Garlic Powder 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp Italian Seasoning Bake at 350 for 6-10 mins depending on what kind of bread your using. Keep your eye on it and about half way through cooking process take them out and give it a toss so everything can cook evenly, then back into the oven to finish cooking. *Tip! - After about 6-10 mins turn off your oven open the door slighting and leave the croutons in the over so the heat can continue to dry them out. This will ensure you get nice crispy croutons. After a few mins let them cool completely before storing in a Ziploc or air tight container. Caesar Dressing: 3 tbs or mayonnaise - or Greek yogurt 2 tbs of white wine vinegar - or fresh lemon juice 1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese a pinch of sugar/sweetener to balance acidity Hope you all enjoy this Simple Easy Caesar Salad recipe!
