How it's made - A Hokusai inspired ring

I was inspired by Hokusai's famous woodblock print of The Great Wave off Kanagawa and made my own ring sized version. I used green jeweller's wax to carve the design and then sent it to a caster to be transformed into silver using the lost wax casting method. I then carved flowing waves into the metal on the back. I'm a beginner at this craft but I'm excited by how good this looks! Hope you enjoyed this short video.
