As per the latest news, NIA and Enforcement Directorate conducts a raid in Maharashtra. 20 different locations spread across the state of Maharashtra are raided. 105 members of PFI have been taken into custody, 60 are said to be from Maharashtra, Kerala, and Karnataka. The National Investigation Agency and Enforcement Directorate on Thursday morning detained nearly 100 activists of extremist Islamic organization Popular Front of India, including its top leaders, during nationwide raids carried out in several states. PFI has been rumored to have been involved in some massive terror attacks of the past and was banned due to its radicalist Islamist views.
