Hurricane Milton came and went, and thankfully Miami wasn't hit at all. We didn't even get rain or high winds. Hopefully everyone in and around Tampa and the Gulf side of Florida is ok -- they got it pretty bad. Our warehouse was originally closed today, but because of the light nature of the hurricane in this area, it was declared safe to operate, so I shot in to get some of the orders that came in over the past couple of days packed and ready for when the carriers resume pick ups tomorrow. Honestly, I was going stir crazy being home for the past couple of days, so I took the opportunity to come pack up some skate deck orders and trucker hats orders. In this vlog I discuss the reasons we make custom boxes rather than use mass produced generic cardboard shipping boxes. I had to cut the vlog short because a meeting that was originally cancelled due to the hurricane wanted to out it back on the schedule.
