Blanco is certainly getting fitter and has now started schooling properly again. This was our first time out schooling at an arena down the road from us. As expected, she started off stiff, a bit looky and inconsistent. But in the end she worked really well. A lot of people think she is an easy ride (until they get on and try), but really she is not as straight forward as she may seem. I ride he in a very particular way as it works for her. Within the video are dressage exercises that you can use for suppleness. You can adjust this exercise to suit you and your horse, with added transitions, working in the walk or canter, adding in leg yield and so many other options. From here schooling will progress, and we are hoping to be out competing in a few keeps time at an unaffiliated Dressage competition!
