The 3.5l V6 Ecoboost has developed a great reputation over the years, and rightfully so. First offered in 2015, Ford has had a lot of time to perfect it. They've ironed out most if not all the kinks and have a well-oiled machine now. This eco boost has become a reliable platform. Is it better than the 5.4L V8 they had in the 2014 and older Expeditions? Tough to say. But the numbers don't lie... Better hp, much better torque, and exceptional towing capabilities.
