Fragments mark a relatively new feature within VBCS that allow reusability and modularity in your applications. A fragment is simply a section of UI that can be developed as a standalone artifact, and will be included in multiple other pages in the application. Outside of offering a cleaner way to replicate common UI pieces, it allows developers the ability to more clearly delineate whose task is whose and not step on each-other's toes. While fragments bring a remarkable amount of power to VBCS, their purpose can also be easily misinterpreted or mistakenly interchanged with Flow's - which define the lifecycle of the application.
