There have been many momentous chapters in the chequered history of Sligo Rovers Football Club. 2012 was one such. Thirty-five years after winning the League of Ireland title for only the second time, Rovers secured the Premier Division crown. Doing so was not without drama-no more so than on October 13th when Rovers knew victory over St. Patrick's Athletic would deliver the title. This is the story of that unforgettable day.
