After a day of more explosive fire behavior, the Line fire calmed down for about 2 hours before it started its extreme fire behavior again. The fire did jump highway 38 in a couple places yesterday however the fire immediately ran into the old eldorado burn scare and slowed down enough to allow fire fighters to be able to attack the fires breeched area directly in multiple locations making it a successful stop of the spots. Earlier in the evening, fire fighters on the west side of seven oaks continued to work to protect homes. Fire fighters could be seen lighting a back far deep off where seven oaks road meets 1n09. The back fire was successful as the main fire and its intense heat sucked their back fire directly into it. when the sun set the smoke column could be seen as it switch directions from a southernly push to a now west push which now pushed the fire towards Angelus Oaks. The fire did die down for a couple hours before it started gaining more momentum and is now making more pushes up slop towards angelus oaks from the west and south west. Helicopters continue to drop water on the flaming front to try and slow the progression as fire fighters are preparing to abandon their stand on forest road 1n12 which is the forest road that runs directly behind and parallel to the town of Angelus Oaks. Mean while fire resources are staged all through out angelus oaks, preparing to make what ever stand may be needed.
