I share my secret to fixing silk seams that have come unraveled. It's fusible interfacing. The fusible glue on the interfacing keeps the fabric weave from loosening more. With an iron, fuse it onto the fabric on the seam that has come undone, then restitch the seam closed. I often have to sew into the main body of the fabric as the silk fabric has normally come undone into the main body. You will lose a little of the main body fabric, but it shouldn't be too noticeable, depending on how big the hole is to start. As soon as I see a whole in a silk garment I stop wearing or washing it until it is repaired. Wearing or washing it will make the whole get bigger and it will be more difficult to fix.
