WHERE WE HAVE BEEN FOR THE LAST YEAR.. BUILDING THE HOMESTEAD

Hey guys. Wow, it has been a LONG TIME since we have uploaded to this channel. SO MUCH has happened in the last year and we wanted to completely fill you in on where we have been. This is an update video explaining that we have been silent, but things have NOT been quiet here on our land. We have had tons of contractor grading, trees cut down, driveways extended, backyards extended, a new playhouse swingset from Backyard discovery (eagles nest elite - but we have a LOT to say about their terrible customer service so don't purchase without asking first) - our son is now a 17 month old toddler, we got our new beautiful greenhouse (its not finished yet but we will do an entire video when it is) we got hydroseeding with white clover done on our hills and grass in our lawn. I planted 700 tulip, hyacinth, daffodil and allium bulbs in containers along our driveway and we built out an entire no-dig garden (ala Charles Dowding method) and planted an entire orchard of Apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, hazlenuts, elderberry & cherry) - I had a mental health break at the end of August which made filming and uploading a last priority, as my mental health had to become TOP priority and I am doing really great now with lots of therapy, medication, self love, time, and WORK. Our water pipes froze, we had to get tons of work done on the well house, we got solar panels and battery backup, a harvest right freeze dryer for food storage & MORE! It has been one of the busiest years of our life, doing all of this with taking care of a baby who doesn't sleep well and has now become a toddler who needs a TON of stimulation, but we are DOING IT and loving it and cannot wait to bring you along with us for all of these exciting future projects.
