Installing a Two Post Lift: Stage 1. THE CONCRETE!!

This is the first part of a series of what it takes to turn your garage into a shop with a Two Post Lift. The first stage I cover the concrete and why the foundation is the most important. We poured this to 8" using 5k psi concrete for my lift. I took out the old concrete and re-poured a new slab making sure it's at least 8" throughout. You'll be surprised at the inconsistencies in thickness of existing concrete. Some parts were not even two inches thick!
