(G-LSAN) 03/02/18 Boeing 757-2K2 If you wish to skip to parts of the video: Taxi - 07:40 Takeoff - 12:30 Landing- 32:30 Well some of you may have been expecting a flight back to London Southend, well due to unforeseen circumstances, my holiday was cut short but on the bright side, I made it back to the UK on a 757! This is the second time I have been onboard a Jet2 757, with the first being G-LSAJ to Alicante last summer. You may have noticed the lady in the bus as we were making our way to the aircraft say: 'That looks like a fairly new plane', directed as G-LSAH which is currently over 30 years old. Jet2 do seem to keep their aircraft in good shape, they have a fairly modern cabin interior, with the exception to the overhead panels. The flight was fairly non-eventful and you may have noticed that I was sitting within close proximity to families with small children, and there were a fair number of kids on this flight. However, we roared up into the sky with our two powerful RB211's, where you can also see nice views of Arrecife as we climbed. The sunset closed in fairly quickly after we departed, so I tried to squeeze in enough footage whilst it was still light. Unfortunately due to the reflections, it meant that I was unable to get any decent footage until the lights had been switched off for landing.
