How to replace the cambelt on a Chrysler PT cruiser 2.4. This car is a 2007 2.4 Limited, the process should be generally the same throughout the PT cruiser production run. The 2.0 judging from the service manual looks similar. I am unable to comment on how diesel models are configured or if they even use a belt. The process might also be similar on other Chrysler models that got this engine, although living in Northern Ireland they were not sold in huge numbers here. It is not the easiest cam-belt i have done, although fundamentally this engine is a relatively straight forward 4 cylinder. It is not a job that has to be done too frequently on these cars and it might be worth tackling it yourself for the potential savings in labour costs that option brings.
