Winter wildcamp Simond Makalu T2 Mountain tent -mods and and update

I have made a few changes to the Simomd Makalu tent from Decathlon. Its an excellent tent, if a little heavy for its size, but I felt it was worth investing and improving it. These were: 1.Change all of the lines and cord or 2.5mm dyneema, less water retention and 100g saving. 2. Fitted a full mosquito net door. 3. Fitted eyelets to the front + rear snow valence corners so they can be pegged out if no snow. 4. Mosquito net to rear vent The biggest thing is the lack of mosquito mesh door, which despite decathlon saying it has one- it does not. This will be my solo go to winter bad conditions tent. I tested it out on a cold, windy December hill top in Northumberland. The strongest winds so far have been 30 mph, so I am keen to find worse when I can! I had a few sound and wind issues, but bare with me! I was solo with honey the dog. I will bring you soon a full video of this trip, titled Wildcamping- the Mind not the Gear!.
