At a certain point in your art business, classes aren't enough any more. Your particular situation is unique enough that you'll benefit far more from an experienced coach - which can be very expensive. A great alternative is mastermind groups with experienced peers. Mastermind groups meet together to help each other push forward toward a goal. In this session, Cory Huff and Sarah Guthrie from The Abundant Artist will talk about how they organize and run both peer-led masterminds as well as coach-led groups. Sarah C.B. Guthrie, MFA, MA, is a Seattle-based artist with over 20 years experience in communications in higher education. She is a Certified Innovation Facilitator by The Creative Problem Solving Group; a certified trainer in Development Dimension International (DDI) customer service modules; and completed Training Resources Groups Facilitator Training Program, specializing in performance management training. She has worked as Director of Communications at UW School of Pharmacy since 2014. Prior to that she served as Director of Marketing and Communications at Antioch University Seattle and led employee communications at American University for over fifteen years.
