Unruly Heart (The Prom)

The 2018 musical The Prom seemed like an easy pass when it hit Broadway. My curiosity finally got the better of me, and I watched the film version last year. The script closely mirrors a 2010 story out of Fulton, Mississippi, where a lesbian couple finally won the right to attend their senior prom, but only 5 other students showed up. All the others attended a secret, private prom their parents arranged. Several celebrities, like Green Day, Cat Cora, and Lance Bass helped to sponsor a "second-chance" prom for LGBTQ students. I recorded another song from this musical, "Dance With You" (   • Dance with You  ).
