I got the chance to go explore the beautiful Virginia roads at the Alpine Loop Gran Fondo. Jeremiah Bishop, a total badass, put on the 9th installment of the Alpine Gran Fondo and it was a blast. 4 timed segments, lots of climbing, steep gravel sections, and overall a smashing ride. I vlog my experience of riding 119 miles / 190km around Harrisonburg Virginia. I chase the young bucks and struggle to be competitive, but still manage a good finish in the 30-34 category. Cycling gran fondos are so much fun for the fact that you can race it, or you can ride it however you want to.
