Blue Crabs, in this video we'll be setting our Blue Crab traps [Pots] in the Indian River Lagoon 5 days after hurricane Idalia. We had a lot of bait in the freezer at our trailer at Suwannee Florida, that was hit by the hurricane and we didn't have enough freezer room at home for all of it, so we decided to set some crab traps rather than throw it away. We set 7 blue crab traps at our closest spot and let then set for 2 days. On the day we pulled the traps there were several storms in the are that we were trying to beat back to the boat ramp. After pulling the traps we ended up with a decent amount of quality Blue Crabs and almost beat the storm. When we returned home we boiled the Blue Crabs whole and had a nice pick and eat dinner.
