Easy Kadhi Pakora Chawal Recipe by Food Fusion

This is surely a recipe to treasure #HappyCookingToYou #FoodFusion Written Recipe: https://bit.ly/3vlp1Lv Serves 8-10 Recipe in English: Ingredients: Prepare Pakora Kadhi Spice Mix: -Curry patta (Curry leaves) 12-15 -Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) 2 tbs -Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 & ½ tbs -Sabut lal mirch (Button red chillies) 12-15 -Darchini (Cinnamon sticks) 1-2 -Laung (Cloves) 4-5 -Badi elaichi (Black cardamom) 1 -Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) ½ tsp Prepare Kadhi: -Dahi (Yogurt) 2 & ½ Cups -Baisan (Gram flour) roasted ¾ Cup -Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste -Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp -Pyaz (Onion) sliced 1 small -Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs -Water 8 Cups Prepare Pakoray: -Chana daal (Split bengal gram) 1 & ½ Cup (soaked for 3-4 hours) -Water 1 Cup -Pyaz (Onion) sliced 2 medium -Hari mirch (Green chillies) chopped 2-3 -Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tsp -Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste -Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2-3 tbs -Cooking oil for frying -Namak (Salt) ½ tbs or to taste Prepare Tadka: (Optional) -Cooking oil ¼ Cup or as required -Pyaz (Onion) sliced 1 small -Lehsan (Garlic) sliced 3 cloves -Sabut lal mirch (Button red chillies) 7-8 -Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp -Curry patta (Curry leaves) 10-12 Directions: Prepare Pakora Kadhi Spice Mix: -In a frying pan,add curry leaves & dry roast for 1-2 minutes. -Add coriander seeds,cumin seeds,button red chillies,cinnamon sticks,cloves,black cardamom,black peppercorns & dry roast until fragrant. -Let it cool. -In a spice mixer,add roasted spices & grind well.Pakora kadhi spice mix is ready! Prepare Kadhi: -In a pot,add yogurt,gram flour & whisk until well combined. -Add pakora kadhi spice mix (reserved 1 tbs for pakora),red chilli powder,turmeric powder,onion, ginger garlic paste,water & mix well. -Turn on the flame & bring it to boil,cook on high flame for 2 minutes then cover & cook on very low flame for 1-2 hours & stir in between (Add lukewarm water if required). Prepare Pakoray: -In a blender jug,add split bengal gram,water & grind well to make a thick paste. -Take out In a bowl,onion,green chillies,ginger garlic paste,salt,turmeric powder,prepared pakora kadhi spice mix (1 tbs),fresh coriander & mix well. -In a wok,heat cooking oil & fry pakoras on medium flame until golden & crispy. -In kadhi,add salt & mix well. -Now add fried pakoray & mix gently,cover & simmer cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes. Prepare Tadka: (Optional) -In a frying pan,add cooking oil,onion & mix well. -Add garlic,mix well & fry until light golden. -Add button red chillies,cumin seeds,curry leaves & mix well. -Pour prepared tadka on kadhi & serve with boiled rice. Recipe in Urdu: Directions: Prepare Pakora Kadhi Spice Mix: -Frying pan mein curry patta dal ker 1-2 minutes kliya dry roast ker lein. -Sabut dhania,zeera,sabut lal mirch,darchini,laung,badi elaichi aur sabut kali mirch dal ker Khushbu anay tak dry roast ker lein. -Thanda ker lein. -Spice mixer mein roasted spice dal ker ache tarhan grind ker lein.Pakora kadhi spice mix tayyar hai. Prepare Kadhi: -Pot mein dahi aur baisan dal ker ache tarhan whisk ker lein. -Pakora kadhi spice mix (reserved 1 tbs for pakora),lal mirch powder,haldi powder,pyaz,adrak lehsan paste aur pani dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Chulha on karein aur ubal anay ka bad tez ancch per 2 minute kliya paka lein phir dhak ker bohat halki ancch per 1-2 hours kliya paka lein aur bech bech mein chamcha chalatay rahein (agar zaroorat ho tou neem garam pani shamil ker lein). Prepare Pakoray: -Blender jug mein chana daal aur pani dal dein aur ache tarhan grind ker ka thick paste tayyar ker lein. -Bowl mein nikal lein,hari mirchein,adrak lehsan paste,namak,haldi powder,tayyar pakora kadhi spice mix (1 tbs) aur hara dhania dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Karahi mein cooking oil garam karein aur pakoray o darmiyani ancch per golden & crispy ho janay tak fry ker lein. -Kadhi mein namak dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Ab fried pakoray dal ker gently mix karein aur dhak ker halki ancch per 8-10 minutes kliya dum per rakh dein. Prepare Tadka: (Optional) -Frying pan mein cooking oil aur pyaz dal ker mix karein. -Lehsan dal dein aur light golden ho janay tak fry ker lein. -Sabut lal mirch,zeera aur curry patta dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. -Ab tayyar tadka ko kadhi per dal dein aur boiled chawal ka saath serve karein!
