KonMari Your Stash - How to fold your stash using Marie Kondo folding techniques

I am one of the many who have been caught up in the decluttering wave thanks to "Tidying Up" with Marie Kondo on Netflix. Since the beginning of January, I have removed 20 bins of stuff from my house and am just getting started. But I have been folding my fabric stash by the Marie Kondo method for years. By folding your stash so it can be stored vertically, you can see everything you have at a glance, no more sorting through messy stacks. There is less stress on the folds at the bottom, which means it is better for your fabric. And best of all, you can fit more fabric in your storage containers by storing it vertically. In today's video I show you how I can fit 12.5 yards of fabric in a basket the size of a shoe box. Just watch to see how I fold fat eighths, fat quarters, half yards and yard cuts so I can see everything, while keeping my stash neat, tidy and beautiful. Here are the bins I use in the video that are available at Target. Y Weave Small (used for fat eighths, fat quarters and half yards): https://www.target.com/p/y-weave-smal... Y Weave Medium (used for one yard cuts): https://www.target.com/p/y-weave-medi... Check out more from Quilt Addicts Anonymous ...
