Gibson ES150 Sunburst 1951 played by Tom Punt | Demo

The Gibson ES150 electric guitar has an important place in the company's history: it was one of the first successful guitars in the ES line, or the Electric Spanish series. Though manufacturing of the ES150 began in 1936, it was stopped during World War II and then rereleased in '46 with a number of redesigned elements, such as the inclusion of a P90 rather than the bar pickup, also known as the 'Charlie Christian' pickup. This ES150 from 1951 does wear some traces that come with the age, for example weatherchecking and playwear. However, it has no cracks and is exceptionally clean and in excellent condition! The original single P90 pickup can be controlled with the gold-knob tone and volume controls and offers that classic 1950's warm Gibson sound. Travels in the original case, which is in fair condition. It has some wear and one of the hinges is broken. Includes TFOA passport.
