Open your package and confirm the following items are in it: • DTA Mini Box • Power Cord • HDMI Cord • Coax Cable Step 1 – Connect Your Cable: Locate an active cable outlet near the spot where you want your set-top box to live. Common spots include rooms like your main living space or home office but anywhere an outlet exists will work. Connect the coaxial cable by inserting the wire and twisting the fastener onto the threaded end of the outlet. Now, connect it to the modem and fasten it. Be sure to tighten it as much as possible by hand. If your cable outlet is already in use by a cable modem, you can use a splitter to attach your set-top box. Attach your main coaxial cable to the splitter then use the supplied jumper cables to connect your TV and modem. Step 2 – Connect Your TV: Connect the set-top box to your tv using the supplied HDMI cable. Step 3 – Select Your Input: Plugin your set-top box and power it on. Adjust the input on your tv to match the HDMI port used. Typically, you’ll have to wait about five (5) minutes for the signal to match. Step 4 – Program Your Remote Follow the instructions included with your remote and enter the code for your specific tv brand. This enables you to use the power and volume buttons for your tv.
