Welcome to the Behind the Scenes of Humber College’s Orientation! In this video, we take you behind the scenes of what Orientation will look like at Humber College. The breakdown is as follows: Opening Ceremonies: At Opening Ceremonies, you’ll get to hear from your academic school, our student government called IGNITE, and student services staff. They’ll talk about important information about your school and what to expect during Welcome Week, which occurs the week after Orientation. We highly recommend attending these events and workshops because they’ll help you get the most out of time at Humber and you’ll learn how to get involved! Meet Your Faculty/Family and Friends Session: At the Meet Your Faculty session, you’ll be able to ask your professors questions and meet your future classmates! Any family/friends/supports who came with you will be going to the Family and Friends session, where they’ll learn about how to support you the best they can. Campus Tour: Take a campus tour once you’re done with your session! Taking a tour helps you get acquainted with the feel of the campus and you’ll learn where all the services and resources are.
