Chinese steamed rice roll ingredients: 400g rice powder 50g potato starch 50g wheat starch 1kg cold water 5g salt Fillings raw tiger prawns 31/40 (6 for each roll) char siu (cut into small pieces) Equipment; 1 piece of white cloth (clean one of course) rectangle tray steamer Oiled chopping board or large clean surface Soak cloth in water and put it on the tray Spread 1 ladle scoop of rice roll mix on the tray. For prawn rice roll place 6 prawns a one end of the rice roll mix in a straight line. Steam it for 5 minutes . Remove the cloth with the cooked rice roll and flip it on the chopping board. Remove the cloth to leave the rice roll on the board and roll the rice roll and chopped into three equal length. Best to watch video demo. before attempting this.
