Getting his start in his city’s Artbeat community, he first gained international recognition for an unofficial Janet Jackson remix. He toured with Madonna in 2015, and in 2016 the Haitian-born artist released the soulfully retro 99.9%, his debut album on XL Recordings. The record puts his myriad passions – Dilla’s beats, old disco oddities and ’90s R&B – on full display.
