240Z Test drive with 123Tune+ ignition. Testing the Vacuum Advance.

Short drive in my 240Z. Speeding around in the time of Corona Virus. Testing the 123Tune+ software with a new Advance and Map curve. I have been trying out different MAP curves over a couple of days and the attempt here is to match the standard Z tune and so not exceed around 35 degrees advance under normal conditions. The rev limiter will do a nice random spark cut at 7,000 RPM or whatever you set (up to 8,000 I believe). There are many ways to set these up and it depends on your engine, carbs and also driving style to an extent. This is for driving around, and freeway cruising. I'm not tuning for the track, although you can have more aggressive MAPs stored and just load them from your iPhone as needed. Very hard to get perfect, the 123/Tune+ App on iPhone or iPad is very responsive in real time and the RPM is very accurate. The GPS provided MPH is less accurate for sure, unless you are at a steady speed over long distance. You also get to see the Landscape mode display from about 1/2 way through. I really wish the display dials were configurable. But I'm just glad to have all that info available on a 45+ year old car.
