Doom 2: Good Morning Phobos - Map 7: Water Canal (UV Max)

This is an updated 2021 version of sincity2100’s original 2017 release of GMP. It upgrades the soundtrack of multiple maps, makes several map replacements, and makes smaller improvements to other maps. Good Morning Phobos is a 33 map WAD. It takes heavy influence from the likes of TNT: Evilution, Perdition’s Gate, and some newer WADs. It also heavily utilizes the Community Chest 4 texture pack. Some might see it as a drawback, due to how much it’s used, but the gameplay makes up for whatever visual/aesthetic flaws the WAD has. This is an underrated pick, in my opinion, for the top WADs of the 2010s. The rooms are piled high, there's a fair amount of room to move, monsters are placed in a way that facilitates more engaging action, and the music rocks. I do think this isn't one of the better looking maps, however. Just something about the texture combinations that don't agree with me as much. I do like the theme change in the last quarter of the map, and it's organically introduced through an outdoor transition. Other than that, I don't have much else to add.
