In March of 2024, the Social Security Administration made some updates to how SSI payments are calculated - and these changes can benefit people who depend on these monthly payments to get by! SSI, or Supplemental Security Income, helps people who are not able to work due to a disability. The rules regarding how these payments are calculated can get complicated. They just became a little easier though!
