This is my first time replacing this type of floor drain cover. A good learning experience. It's anti-odour, anti-insect and anti-small animals. Note to family: 1. Because it traps water, this type of drain cover needs to be cleaned regularly. Maybe once a week. 2. Hair seems to be able to enter it. So, a top cover with smaller holes is needed. 3. Don't remove the pieces just to let water drain faster. Stuff will drain along with the water. We don't want that. Side note: I'm not a fully-trained professional (just partially-trained).
