The river is shallow, and the trip proves a bit stressful for the Captain Jim as he navigates his way through the gravel bars lurking under the surface. We pick up our story having safely reached one of the myriad beaches on the Yellowstone, where Kate finds lovely agates, beautiful agatized wood, and incredible piece of what she thinks is jasperized wood, and even a petrified bone!
