Adventure ("Colossal Cave")

Thanks to my friends in the Northern Beaches Symphonic Wind Ensemble and conductor Dr Martin Hardy for performing my composition, and to Derek Barg for audio and video. https://www.nbswe.org.au/ / nbswe This composition was inspired by the classic 1970’s computer text adventure game “Colossal Cave”. We take a musical journey within the cave and its surroundings, including the many characters, objects, ‘magic’ (including XYZZY) and of course the famous “Maze of twisty little passages” which is represented by a free-time ‘chance music’ section. A fantastic concert selection with the usual Hosenbugler 'hints of jazz'.
