This video is from our first full night+day stay in Rancho Nuevo Mazatlan. It’s by the Sea of Cortez in Baja Mexico. Forgive us for sounding repetitive, but this spot TRULY is a gem. It’s like a secret desert woods that's tucked away from the road, that stretches along a magnificent and soft sea line. Staying on the Sea of Cortez (from Baja) is already such an interesting experience, especially if you're used to the west coast. Here the sun and moon rise on the sea. We are here in the middle of summer and it is so warm that you can wake up at dawn and just lay out flat in the super low tide and let the water cool you. We will definitely come back in the future just to this beach alone. We talked a little about trash- though it should be mentioned that this video is from a few summers ago, and now that we’ve been there more times the trash has gotten much better. (though we still say - pack it in pack it out) Note: Weekends especially holidays- this beach can get extremely crowded and some families may have fiestas and generators, you can see a bunch of reviews of people’s experiences on Google Maps when looking up Rancho Nuevo Mazatlan, however everyone we’ve come across has been quite nice.
