From Season 2 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 7: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow which aired on October 26th, 1955. Animation is used to provide a brief biographical look at Washington Irving, who grew up in the Hudson River region of New York State. Of all his stories, Walt feels The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is the most famous. In this version (likely the airing on October 31st, 1965) we have Walt's lead-in, the Washington Irving featurette and a very funny Walt lead-out! Edited due to copyright restriction is Sleepy Hollow segment, which can be seen on Disney+, but I did leave in the alternate ending exclusive to this episode! Note: as much as I’d love to include Ichabod (are they shovels or are they feet!) Disney and YouTube will not allow me to upload the entire animated segment for others to watch for free. Please purchase the The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad on disc or subscribe to Disney+ to watch it.
