In this episode, we went hiking and camping in Guadalupe Mountains National Park. We drove out to West Texas, staying at Van Horn the night before heading into the park. We then hiked the Salt Basin Overlook trail on the first day. We had some great views of the desert and saw the Guadalupe Mountain's El Capitan. The next day we hiked up to the highest point in Texas, Guadalupe Peak, sitting at 8751 feet above sea level. We then hiked on the Devil's Hall Trail on the last day before driving to Carlsbad Caverns.
