Many times, the traditional two-bubble-level technique with one on the receiver and one on the top of the scope’s elevation turret works just fine. In other cases, we can’t rely on the stacked tolerances of the elevation turret to be fully accurate for a perfect level. In those cases, we need to go with something like a plum bob.
