I have tried different recipes..different methods..and as I usually do.. come up with my own way of making things...so I wanted to share this easy and very versatile homemade cheese recipe with you and how I make it here on the Homestead. Many recipes online make what I call Fake cheese..using Gelatin..and block cheese..to make it a different Cheese. My recipe is Real homemade Cheese from Whole Milk. The Cheese Powder is optional..it does add a little more flavor, color and salt. If you want your cheese saltier..add a tsp of salt...but for us it's just right . 2 gallons Whole Milk (Ours is goat milk) 4 Tablespoons Citric Acid 2 tsp Baking Soda (Level not Heaping) 1/2 cup Butter 2 -4 tsp Cheese Powder ( optional) 2/3 cup Whole Milk Thanks for joining us today...Leave a friendly comment..Like , share and Subscribe, if you enjoyed the Video.
