Working with 7yo Sharon Wang on Grade 5. She began with Muso term 3/4 end of 2021 at Grade 2 level. She started piano when she was 4 years old, but unfortunately her previous teacher allowed her wrists to be high… and her fingers was FLAT. She has progressed a lot because she practices 3 hours a day (crazy girl, why do you love piano so much Sharon haha) (quote Sharon “I want to be the best”) so her fingers are curve. But you can see that many times, her right wrist is super high. It would probably take another year or two to fix ☹️☹️☹️ So if you are a piano teacher out there, please teach all your beginner students the right technique the first time!!! PS: the worst is violin….do not learn violin in a school program, please learn violin privately 🤣🥲violin bad technique is the worst to fix! Isabelle Muso
