The Pre War Gibson RB-11 has its own special place in Bluegrass History.....as it was the first model of Gibson Banjo ever owned by none other than Mr. Earl Scruggs.....and was used by Scruggs on Sept. 16th, 1946...to make the first recordings of what we know today as....."
