Milan, Lake Como, Bellagio & Lugano Switzerland

It has been nine years since we last visited Milan. That time was only a day trip. This time we were fortunate enough to stay for over a week. We took in all that is Milan and several of its nearby cities. Milan is home to some of the world’s most prizes historical sites. From it’s Duomo, the fifth largest in the world, to the church that houses Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. The city is vibrant, busy, stylish and beautiful. We also went off on a few day trips. We visited Lake Cuomo, Bellagio and Lugano, Switzerland. These were beautiful lakeside towns that offer picturesque panoramic landscapes and downtown with piazza style and traffic-free centers for you to wander around and explore. I love cities with narrow roads, pastel-colored buildings, and inviting cafes and bistros.
