One of Lufthansa’s lovely A320neos approaching Naples Capodichino Airport on a beautiful summer day, after a 1.5hr journey from its home at Frankfurt Airport, Germany. During the approach over the stunning beautiful Gulf of Naples D-AINM was passing the italian coastline north of the city of Napoli performing a right 180-turn towards the final approach of Runway 24 of Capodichino Airport with some scenic views of Mt. Vesuvius, the suburbs and industrial sides east of Napoli and the island of Capri on short final. The flight ended with a firm landing (which makes absolutely sense on airports with a short runway, like Napoli) and a short taxi towards Stand 14 right in front of the Terminal building.
