Mixing tank behaviour and MATLAB app

Lectures aimed at engineering undergraduates. Presentation focuses on understanding key prinicples, processes and problem solving rather than mathematical rigour. Considers the behaviour of a mixing tank and how this depends upon volume, flow rate and reaction rate. Also demonstrates a MATLAB app that students can use to reinforce their understanding of the core concepts and expectations. The simulations are reinforced by suitable mathematical analysis.
